Safety Demonstrations

A representative of Farmers Electric will come to your school or civic organization to give an "electrical safety demonstration." This informative and entertaining demonstration can include a video that is geared towards the first through sixth grade elementary students, and a demonstration using actual current that adults will find interesting. The demonstration uses a "demo board" using actual current to show what would happen if a person came into contact with an energized power line.

 
After watching the demonstration the participants will understand the generation and transmission of electricity, home safety, and how to prevent accidents involving power lines and home appliances.
